Just got a Mac, or thinking about getting a Mac? This class is for you! You'll learn the essentials of getting around in your new Mac's operating system, Snow Leopard. Topics include

iLife '11 Basics

With iLife ’11 you’ll do more with photos, movies, and music than you ever thought possible.

iPhoto makes managing your photos as easy as taking them. Learn how iPhoto helps you organize your photos so you can find them fast, edit them so they look their best, and share them with your friends and family.

iMovie makes it easy to combine photos and video clips, add titles, transitions, music and special effects to make your own movie. You'll learn how to edit short movie and several ways to publish it.

GarageBand makes it possible for non-musicians to create custom soundtracks. During this lesson, you'll create a song using Magic GarageBand. Want to learn how to play an instrument? We'll explore how the basic and artist lessons can make GarageBand one of your favorite music teachers.

Note: To benefit from Pixel Time Mac School, you should have *some* computer experience, ie, already know how to use the Internet, how to use a mouse, and how to send eMail. This workshop is for ages 16 – adult.
